Enroll Existing Level 2 Smart Charger

This rebate is for connecting an existing (purchased before January 1 of the current calendar year) smart charger to participate in Managed Charging. The smart charger must be from our list of qualified models. A smart charger connects to a 240-volt electrical circuit to charge your EV at about four times the speed of a standard household outlet. The charger is “smart” in that it has a network connection that allows you to easily schedule your charging and participate in managed charging events.

To be eligible for this offer, you must:

1. Be an Eversource residential customer with an existing, qualified smart charger to charge a plug-in electric vehicle at home,
2. Connect the charger to the internet (note, this may entail adding a Wi-Fi signal booster if your router is a long way from the charger), and
3. Agree to enroll in Managed Charging, wherein you will be rewarded for charging during off peak hours and the occasional adjustments to your charging schedule in response to electric grid events. You will receive ongoing incentives of up to $200 per year for participating.
